Feedback |
"Jon's course is up there with the best.
Jon is a true woodsman and generously
shares his expertise in a way that makes
learning a pleasure.
Bushcraft gives people a feeling of
coming home, a relaxed way of connecting
with nature and others, that is a great
way to spend time.
A great
day from one of Bushcraft's Finest
Exponents..."

"The course is extremely enjoyable and
fits a lot of content into one day
without feeling rushed. Great
demonstrations, and excellent practical

achievement to create our own fires and
shelters. An amazing day in the company

"Hi Jon, just like to thank you for a
wonderful day on the Bushcraft coarse. We
were delighted to make fire for the first
time with a bow drill. A message for others: This I can guarantee
you will get a great sense of an achievement
from, almost primeval. You will have a great
day out with a fantastic teacher. I will be
trying more of the courses in future hoping
for a bow making course soon. All the best
for the future Bushcraft Jon."

"Fantastic course. Leader is very
informative & delivers the session in a
friendly & approachable manner. I learnt new
skills, some of which I never thought I'd
get chance to learn (or be able to 'master')
Also, the toilet is something else - a real
ingenious solution to a real-world
problem!!" Anna |

"I enjoyed making fire using the bow drill
technique: I think Jon was as delighted as I
was when I finally succeeded! It took me a
long time, easily up to an hour. I was not
sure I could make it work but was determined
to keep going till I exhausted my
application. Jon encouraged me to keep going
and gave me technique tips. Finally, I had a
decent amount of ember smoking, I planted it
in my tinder bundle and blew with everything I had.
Smoke first, then the light. Fire! :-)"

| "A very
fun and enjoyable course! I learnt some
really useful things about Bushcraft today
that I can use in the future - especially
tips on finding water, creating shelter and
constructing fire. Jon is a very friendly
and helpful guy and I love how he is in tune
with nature. I feel inspired to spend and
enjoy more time in the great outdoors and
learn more about Bushcraft" Matthew
